3 Isn’t this the carpenter,(A) the son of Mary,(B) and the brother of James,(C) Joses, Judas,(D) and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended(E) by him.
4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet(F) is not without honor(G) except in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his household.” 5 He was not able to do a miracle(H) there, except that he laid his hands on(I) a few sick(J) people and healed(K) them.

3 Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph,[a] Judas and Simon?(A) Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.(B)
4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”(C) 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on(D) a few sick people and heal them.
