3 Is this man not (A)the carpenter, (B)the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not (C)His sisters here with us?” And they were taking (D)offense at Him. 4 And Jesus was saying to them, “(E)A prophet is not without honor except in [a](F)his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.” 5 And He could do no [b]miracle there except that He (G)laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

3 Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph,[a] Judas and Simon?(A) Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.(B)
4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”(C) 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on(D) a few sick people and heal them.
