⁴ Jesus said to them, “^(A)A prophet is not dishonored except in ^[a](B)his hometown and among his own relatives, and in his own household.”

²⁴ But He said, “Truly I say to you, ^(A)no prophet is welcome in his hometown.

⁴⁴ For Jesus Himself testified that ^(A)a prophet has no honor in his own country.
