Temptations to Sin

⁶ “If any of you cause one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,^[a] it would be better for you if a great millstone were fastened around your neck and you were drowned in the depth of the sea.^(A)

⁷ Woe to the world because of things that cause sin!^[a] Such things are bound to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!^(A)

Temptations to Sin

¹² But when you thus sin against brothers and sisters and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
