56 But all this was done, that the Scriptures of the Prophets might be fulfilled. (A)Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
57 ¶ (B)[a]And they took Jesus, and led him to [b]Caiaphas the high Priest, where the Scribes and the Elders were assembled.
58 And Peter followed him afar off unto the high Priest’s [c]hall, and went in and sat with the servants to see the end.

57 Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas(C) the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled. 58 But Peter followed him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest.(D) He entered and sat down with the guards(E) to see the outcome.
