Matthew 4:14-16
Disciples’ Literal New Testament

14 in order that the thing might be fulfilled having been spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying 15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles— 16 the people sitting in darkness saw a great Light. And for the ones sitting in the region and shadow of death, a Light rose for them” [Isa 9:1-2].

on those living in the land of the shadow of death
