Joshua to Succeed Moses

¹² Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go up this mountain^(A) in the Abarim Range^(B) and see the land^(C) I have given the Israelites.^{(D) 13} After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people,^(E) as your brother Aaron^(F) was,

²² I will die in this land;^(A) I will not cross the Jordan; but you are about to cross over and take possession of that good land.^(B)

⁵⁰ There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die^(A) and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died^(B) on Mount Hor^(C) and was gathered to his people.
