Reuben and Gad Settle in Gilead

32 Now the people of Reuben and the people of Gad had a very great number of livestock. And they saw the land of ^(A)Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place was a place for livestock.

^25 (A)Their territory was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the Ammonites, to Aroer, which is east of ^(B)Rabbah,

⁵ They crossed the Jordan and began from ^(A)Aroer,^[a] and from the city that is in the middle of the ^(B)valley, toward Gad and on to ^(C)Jazer.
