6 They departed from Succoth and camped at Etham,(A) which is on the edge of the wilderness.
7 They departed from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which faces Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.(B)
8 They departed from Pi-hahiroth[a] and crossed through the middle of the sea(C) into the wilderness. They took a three-day journey into the Wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.(D)

8 They left Pi Hahiroth[a](D) and passed through the sea(E) into the desert, and when they had traveled for three days in the Desert of Etham, they camped at Marah.(F)
