²⁴Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in forced labor.^(A)

²⁴The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

²⁹Do you see someone skilled^(A) in their work?
They will serve^(B) before kings;^(C)
they will not serve before officials of low rank.
