Psalm 38:6-10

⁶ I am bowed down^(A) and brought very low;
    all day long I go about mourning.^(B)
7 My back is filled with searing pain;^(C)
    there is no health^(D) in my body.
⁸ I am feeble and utterly crushed;^(E)
    I groan^(F) in anguish of heart.^(G)

⁹ All my longings^(H) lie open before you, Lord;
    my sighing^(I) is not hidden from you.
¹⁰ My heart pounds,^(J) my strength fails^(K) me;
    even the light has gone from my eyes.^(L)
