Salmo 40:6-8
Ang Pulong Sa Dios
6 Wala ka malipay sa nagkalain-laing matang sa mga halad,
sama sa halad nga sinunog ug halad sa paghinlo.
Gihimo mo hinuon ako nga matinumanon kanimo.
7 Busa miingon ako,
“Ania ako, andam ako nga motuman sa imong mga sugo nga nasulat sa Kasulatan.
8 O Dios ko, ikalipay ko ang pagtuman sa imong kabubut-on.
Ang imong kasugoan gitipigan ko sulod sa akong kasingkasing.”

6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—(A)
but my ears you have opened[a]—(B)
burnt offerings(C) and sin offerings[b] you did not require.
7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll.[c](D)
8 I desire to do your will,(E) my God;(F)
your law is within my heart.”(G)
