³⁰ Give to everyone who asks you, and from one who takes your things, don’t ask for them back.

¹⁸ Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works,^(A) to be generous, willing to share,^{(B) 19} storing up for themselves a good reserve^[a] for the age to come,^(C) so that they may take hold of life that is real.
