⁷Since they hid their net^(A) for me without cause^(B)
and without cause dug a pit^(C) for me,

⁶They prepared a net for my steps;
I was despondent.
They dug a pit ahead of me,
but they fell into it!^(A)Selah

⁶They spread a net for my feet^(A)—
I was bowed down^(B) in distress.
They dug a pit^(C) in my path—
