Psalm 59:9-11
Christian Standard Bible

9 I will keep watch for you, my[a] strength,
because God is my stronghold.(A)
10 My faithful God[b] will come to meet me;
God will let me look down on my adversaries.(B)

11 Do not kill them; otherwise, my people will forget.
By your power, make them homeless wanderers(C)
and bring them down,
Lord, our shield.(D)

9 You are my strength,(A) I watch for you;
    you, God, are my fortress,(B)
10     my God on whom I can rely.

God will go before me
    and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
11 But do not kill them, Lord our shield,[a](C)
    or my people will forget.(D)
In your might uproot them
    and bring them down.(E)
