The Message

4-5 For God is great, and worth a thousand Hallelujahs.
His furious beauty puts the other gods to shame;
Pagan gods are mere tatters and rags.

5-6 God made the heavens—
Royal splendor radiates from him,
A powerful beauty sets him apart.

7 Bravo, God, Bravo!
Everyone join in the great shout: Encore!
In awe before the beauty, in awe before the might.

5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,(A)
    but the Lord made the heavens.(B)
6 Splendor and majesty(C) are before him;
    strength and glory(D) are in his sanctuary.

7 Ascribe to the Lord,(E) all you families of nations,(F)
    ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
