    his locks are wavy,
    black as a raven.
¹²His eyes are like doves
    beside springs of water,
bathed in milk,
    fitly set.^[a]
¹³His cheeks are like beds of spices,
    yielding fragrance.
His lips are lilies,
    distilling liquid myrrh.
