  1. The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.
  2. And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
  3. In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.”

  11. “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.
  12. Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come.
  13. Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the wilderness when I brought you out of Egypt.’”
  14. So Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar and put an omer of manna in it. Then place it before the Lord to be kept for the generations to come.”
  15. He said, “Because hands were lifted up against the throne of the Lord, the Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.”
  16. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
  17. but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
  18. In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.
  19. “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord. There I will meet you and speak to you;
  20. He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.
  21. Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering for the generations to come. It is most holy to the Lord.”
  22. they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”
  23. Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.
  24. “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.
  25. The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant.
