2. Blessings of obedience (26:3-13)

The Israelites are promised prosperity, peace, and security if they obey God’s commands (vv.3-8). In addition, God promises to keep his covenant, originally made with Abraham, and to increase their numbers greatly (v.9). Above all, God promises to make his dwelling among them, to walk among them and be their God, and to own them as his people (vv.11-13). These promises are enduring; they are God’s promises in Christ for his people in all times.
