Given the ambiguity of Jesus' identity thus far, one could easily understand how the question might be raised, If he is the Son of God, why does he not say so plainly? These enigmatic sayings provide the answer. At present, Jesus and his message are not easily understood. But they will be. In the meantime, attend to what you see and hear, for a positive response now will bring even greater understanding, but lack of attention will lead to loss.
