3. Other directions (11:34b)

We can only guess what further directions Paul has in mind. Further instructions concerning the Lord’s Supper? rich-poor relations? the proper conduct of worship in church assemblies? other traditions? Such passages should give us a greater sense of modesty in asserting with overconfidence our interpretations of the rest of the letter. We are, after all, reading someone else’s mail.
