C. Another Judgment Against Edom (35:1-15)

Here Ezekiel referred to Edom primarily as Mount Seir, the range that ran the entire length of that country. As seen in 25:12-14, the Edomites were both relatives and traditional enemies of Israel. In this short chapter Ezekiel harshly condemned Edom for its continual desire and effort to overthrow Israel, God’s chosen nation. God had not overlooked or forgotten their enmity and cruelty.
