Hezekiah, like David and Solomon, arranges for regular cult observances at the temple. He organizes the clergy, gives his wealth for daily offerings, and orders the people to support the temple servants. The people respond quickly and generously. Storerooms and supervisors are needed to care for the donations. The report of this prosperous stage of Hezekiah’s reign ends with a lengthy evaluation (31:20-21).
