D. Ritual for the Whole Burnt Offering (16:23-28)

Now the high priest puts off the linen garments, bathes himself, and puts on his regular regal clothing. He then offers his own whole burnt offering and the people’s whole burnt offerings. These sacrifices also have atoning merit. Coming at this place, these sacrifices represent a praise offering to the Lord.
