F. The Arrest (22:47-53)

In the darkness of night Judas approached Jesus in order to identify him with a kiss. But Jesus' followers were ready for a fight. One of them (Peter, according to Jn 18:10) struck the high priest’s servant, but Jesus was the Healer even in the moment of his arrest (vv.50-51). Yet it was an hour when darkness (i.e., Satan) reigned (v.53).
