H. Healing of an Official’s Son (4:43-54)

From Samaria Jesus went into Galilee, where he was well received because of the signs he had performed at the Passover in Jerusalem (cf. 2:23). At Cana he performed yet a second (v.54; cf. 2:11) miracle, this time by healing from a distance of some miles the son of a person who may have been a non-Jew (cf. Mt 8:5-13; Lk 7:1-10). As a result of this miraculous sign, an entire household became believers (v.53).
