Jesus' ministry extended to Samaritans as well as Jews. Once, when Jesus had healed ten lepers, it was the Samaritan among them who returned to give thanks. The words translated “Your faith has made you well” may also be translated “Your faith has saved you.” The man received spiritual as well as physical healing.
