AIN KAREM ān kă’ rəm (בְּכַרְמֵ֖י עֵ֥ין גֶּֽדִי). A Heb. phrase found in the Song of Solomon 1:14 meaning “the vineyards of Engedi.” Engedi was on the W coast of the Dead Sea, c. thirty-five m. from Jerusalem.
