JERUEL jĭ rōō’ əl (יְרוּאֵֽל). The part of the wilderness of Judea between Tekoa and Engedi; where King Jehoshaphat defeated an Ammonite-Moabite-Meunite coalition (2 Chron 20:16). The exact location of the wilderness intended is not known.
