JOAKIM jō’ ə kĭm (̓Ιωακίμ, G2719). KJV JOACIM. 1. High priest in the time of Baruch (Baruch 1:7).
2. A high priest in Jerusalem in the days of Judith (Judg 4:6, 7, 14, 15; 15:8 KJV). He gave Judith a welcome after she killed Holofernes.
3. A son of Zerubbabel (1 Esd. 5:5 KJV JOACIM).
