JULIA jōōl’ yə, jōō’ lĭ ə (̓Ιουλία, G2684, Lat. Julia, fem. of Julius). A Christian woman greeted by Paul (Rom 16:15). Writing “Philologus and Julia” (ASV), Paul connected her with Philologus but did not indicate the relationship, perhaps husband and wife[?]. Julia was a common Rom. name.
