TANHUMETH tăn hu’ mĭth (תַּנְחֻ֜מֶת, consolation). A Netophathite; the father of Seraiah, a Heb. captain who remained in Judah with Gedaliah after the Babylonian exile (2 Kings 25:23; Jer 40:8).
