15:22 none was exempt. Asa conscripted forced labor to destroy Ramah and build the fortifications at Geba and Mizpah (5:13 note; 9:22 note).

Geba of Benjamin. Ramah, Geba, and Mizpah are all five to ten miles north of Jerusalem. By fortifying them, Asa discouraged another Israelite campaign against Judah (cf. 2 Chr. 14:6, 7).
