18:20–27 When Saul’s second daughter Michal falls in love with David, Saul offers David another chance to become his son-in-law (vv. 20, 21). He adds again to the conditions David must fulfill (v. 25). David wastes no time (v. 26) in meeting Saul’s requirement twice over, and becomes the king’s son-in-law (v. 27).
