3:15 judgments . . . your enemies. The basis for the rejoicing in v. 14 is explained: both the judgments against God’s people and the enemies that threaten them are overcome. This prophecy finds final fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who satisfied God’s judgment against sin and overcame the enemies of God through His death on the Cross (Rom. 3:23–25; Col. 2:15 note).
