Hebrews 4:8

For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterwards have spoken of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
[This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak about another day [of opportunity] after that.
[This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, He [God] would not speak afterward about another day.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
If Joshua gave the Israelites rest, God wouldn’t have spoken about another day later on.
For if Y’hoshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later of another “day.”
If Joshua had really given the people rest, there would not be any need for God to talk about another day of rest.
For if Jesus had brought them into rest, he would not have spoken afterwards about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not be speaking after these things about another day.
For if Jesus had given them rest, he would never have afterwards spoken of another day.
We know that Joshua did not lead the people into the place of rest that God promised. We know this because God spoke later about another day for rest.
This shows that Joshua did not bring God's people to the place where they could rest. Later, God had to speak again about another day of rest.
For, if Joshua had given them rest, then God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
[L For; Now] If Joshua [C Moses’ successor, who led God’s people into the Promised Land; Josh. 3—4] had ·led the people into that [L given them] rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not after this have spoken of another day.
If Joshua had given the people rest, God would not have spoken about another day.
If Joshua had given the people the rest that God had promised, God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
We know that Joshua did not lead the people into that rest. We know this because God spoke later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them the rest, we should not find God saying, at a much later date, “today”. There still exists, therefore, a full and complete rest for the people of God. And he who experiences his real rest is resting from his own work as fully as God from his.
For if Joshua had given them rest, then he would not afterward have spoken of another day.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
For if Joshua had caused them to rest, he would not have spoken about another day after these things.
This new place of rest he is talking about does not mean the land of Israel that Joshua led them into. If that were what God meant, he would not have spoken long afterwards about “today” being the time to get in.
And so this is still a live promise. It wasn’t canceled at the time of Joshua; otherwise, God wouldn’t keep renewing the appointment for “today.” The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people. God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God. So let’s keep at it and eventually arrive at the place of rest, not drop out through some sort of disobedience.
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have later spoken of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another time after that.
If Joshua had given the people rest, God would not have spoken about another day.
Now if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterwards of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
Now if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken afterward of another day.
We know that Joshua did not lead the people into that rest, because God spoke later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken afterward about another day.
Suppose Joshua had given them rest. If he had, God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.
If Joshua had led those people into God’s rest, He would not have told of another day after that.
Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come.
For if Joshua had given them rest, then he would not afterward have spoken of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later about another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later about another day.
If Joshua had given them rest, you see, he wouldn’t be speaking about another subsequent “rest.”
For if Yehoshua [ben Nun] had brought them to a place of menuchah (rest), Hashem would not have spoken of another "Yom" after that [TEHILLIM 95:7].
For if Joshua had given them rest, then would He not later have spoken of another day?
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later of another day.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
Now if Joshua had been able to lead those who followed him into God’s rest, would God then have spoken this way?
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
If Joshua had led those people to rest, God would not have talked later about another day.
For if Jesus had given rest to them, he should never speak of other after this day [after that day].
for if Joshua had given them rest, He would not concerning another day have spoken after these things;
