Textile workers will be out of work, all weavers and workers in linen and cotton and wool Dispirited, depressed in their forced idleness— everyone who works for a living, jobless.

All the reeds and rushes along the river’s edge will wither and die and rot away. All the crops sown by the Nile will turn brittle and dry, to be blown away—completely away—by sultry winds.

And the floods shall fail, and the strands of the fields shall be made thin, and shall be dried; a reed and spire shall fade (away). (And the rivers shall fail, and the streams of the fields shall be made shallow, and shall be dried up; the reed and the bulrush shall fade away.)
And they have turned away the flowings, Weak and dried up have been brooks of the bulwark, Reed and flag have withered.
