Poverty and shame shall be with him that refuseth instruction, but he that hath regard for reproof shall be honored.
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth correction; But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.
Poverty and shame will come to him who refuses instruction and discipline, But he who accepts and learns from reproof or censure is honored.
Poverty and shame come to him who refuses instruction and correction, but he who heeds reproof is honored.

If you refuse to learn from your mistakes, you will be poor, and no one will respect you. If you listen when you are criticized, you will be honored.
Anyone who turns away from good teaching will become poor and ashamed. But if you accept advice when you do something wrong, people will respect you.
A person who ignores discipline ends up with poverty and shame, but one who conforms to correction will be honored.
