Blessed is he that considereth the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed [by God’s grace and compassion] is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will save him in the day of trouble.
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who considers the weak and the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the time of evil and trouble.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
For the choir director. A psalm of David. Happy is one who is considerate of the poor; the Lord will save him in a day of adversity.
Those who pay close attention to the poor are truly happy! The Lord rescues them during troubling times.
For the leader. A psalm of David:
(A psalm by David for the music leader.) You, Lord God, bless everyone who cares for the poor, and you rescue those people in times of trouble.
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that understandeth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.
Unto the end, understanding for the sons of Core.
To the director: A song of David. Those who help the poor succeed will get many blessings. When trouble comes, the Lord will save them.
David wrote this song for the music leader. If someone is kind to poor people, God blesses him. When he is in trouble, the Lord rescues him.
How blessed is the person who understands the plight of the weak! May the Lord deliver him in the day of trouble.

1 David being grievously afflicted, blesseth them that pity his case, 9 and complaineth of the treason of his own friends and familiars, as came to pass in Judas, John 13:18.  After he feeling the great mercies of God gently chastising him, and not suffering his enemies to triumph against him, 13 giveth most hearty thanks to God. To him that excelleth. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that judgeth wisely of the poor: the Lord shall deliver him in the time of trouble.
For the choir director; a psalm by David. Blessed is the one who has concern for helpless people. The Lord will rescue him in times of trouble.
Happy are those who are concerned for the poor; the Lord will help them when they are in trouble.
For the choir director. A Davidic psalm. Happy is one who cares for the poor; the Lord will save him in a day of adversity.
For the director of music. A song of David. Happy is the person who thinks about the poor. When trouble comes, the Lord will save him.
To the Director: A Davidic Psalm. Blessed is the one who is considerate of the destitute; the Lord will deliver him when the times are evil.
To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David. ¶ Blessed is he that understands regarding the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David. How blessed is he who considers the poor; Yahweh will provide him escape in a day of calamity.
For the music director. A psalm of David. Blessed is the one who has regard for the poor; in the day of disaster, Yahweh delivers him.
God blesses those who are kind to the poor. He helps them out of their troubles.
Dignify those who are down on their luck; you’ll feel good—that’s what God does. God looks after us all, makes us robust with life— Lucky to be in the land, we’re free from enemy worries. Whenever we’re sick and in bed, God becomes our nurse, nurses us back to health.

How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will deliver him in a day of trouble.
