1 Timothy 1:13-15

New Matthew Bible

¹³ when before I was a blasphemer and a persecutor, and full of violence. But I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly, through unbelief. ¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord abounded more greatly with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵ This is a true saying, and by all means worthy to be received: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
