²¹ She named the boy Ichabod,^[a](A) saying, “The Glory^(B) has departed from Israel”—because of the capture of the ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband.

⁴ Then the glory of the Lord^(A) rose from above the cherubim and moved to the threshold of the temple. The cloud filled the temple, and the court was full of the radiance of the glory of the Lord.
