¹⁹ People will flee to caves^(A) in the rocks
    and to holes in the ground^(B)
from the fearful presence^(C) of the Lord
    and the splendor of his majesty,^(D)
    when he rises to shake the earth.^(E)

²¹ They will flee to caverns in the rocks^(A)
    and to the overhanging crags
from the fearful presence of the Lord
    and the splendor of his majesty,^(B)
    when he rises^(C) to shake the earth.^(D)

¹³ Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;^(A)
    and the earth will shake^(B) from its place
at the wrath^(C) of the Lord Almighty,
    in the day of his burning anger.^(D)

¹⁸ Whoever flees^(A) at the sound of terror
    will fall into a pit;^(B)
whoever climbs out of the pit
    will be caught in a snare.^(C)

The floodgates of the heavens^(D) are opened,
    the foundations of the earth shake.^(E)

³ For when you did awesome^(A) things that we did not expect,
    you came down, and the mountains trembled^(B) before you.
