Acts 17:27-29
Contemporary English Version
27 (A) God has done all this, so that we will look for him and reach out and find him. He isn't far from any of us, 28 and he gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are. “We are his children,” just as some of your poets have said.
29 Since we are God's children, we must not think that he is like an idol made out of gold or silver or stone. He isn't like anything that humans have thought up and made.

New International Version
27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.(A) 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a](B) As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[b]
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill.(C)
