³ But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart,^(A) and though I multiply my signs and wonders^(B) in Egypt,

¹³ Yet Pharaoh’s heart^(A) became hard and he would not listen^(B) to them, just as the Lord had said.

¹⁵ But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief,^(A) he hardened his heart^(B) and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said.

¹² But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart^(A) and he would not listen^(B) to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said to Moses.

³⁵ So Pharaoh’s heart^(A) was hard and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the Lord had said through Moses.

The Plague of Locusts

10 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart^(A) and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these signs^(B) of mine among them

²⁰ But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,^(A) and he would not let the Israelites go.

²⁷ But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,^(A) and he was not willing to let them go.

¹⁰ Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,^(A) and he would not let the Israelites go out of his country.

⁴ And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart,^(A) and he will pursue them.^(B) But I will gain glory^(C) for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”^(D) So the Israelites did this.
