⁷ And I will ^(A)establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, ^(B)to be God to you and ^(C)your descendants after you.

²⁴ And the Lord ^(A)appeared to him the same night and said, ^(B)“I am the God of your father Abraham; ^(C)do not fear, for ^(D)I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”

²¹ so that ^(A)I come back to my father’s house in peace, ^(B)then the Lord shall be my God.

⁶ Moreover He said, ^(A)“I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for ^(B)he was afraid to look upon God.

¹⁵ Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is ^(A)My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

²⁶ But concerning the dead, that they ^(A)rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ^(B)‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

³⁷ But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord ^(A)‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

³² saying, ^(A)‘I am the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and dared not look.

¹⁶ But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed ^(A)to be called their God, for He has ^(B)prepared a city for them.
