⁸ For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

³⁰ A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

³¹ They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

⁴ We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

⁴ One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
