⁶ I will maintain my innocence^(A) and never let go of it;
    my conscience^(B) will not reproach me as long as I live.^(C)

⁶ let God weigh me^(A) in honest scales^(B)
    and he will know that I am blameless^(C)—

⁷ He does not take his eyes off the righteous;^(A)
    he enthrones them with kings^(B)
    and exalts them forever.^(C)

⁹ Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
    and make the righteous secure—^(A)
you, the righteous God^(B)
    who probes minds and hearts.^(C)

⁵ The Lord examines the righteous,^(A)
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion.^(B)

¹⁵ The eyes of the Lord^(A) are on the righteous,^(B)
    and his ears are attentive^(C) to their cry;

¹⁸ The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,^(A)
    and their inheritance will endure forever.^(B)

¹¹ The Lord knows all human plans;^(A)
    he knows that they are futile.^(B)
