²⁶ As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take and eat. This is My body.”

²⁷ Then He took the cup, and after He gave thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you. ²⁸ For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
