²⁸ When you give it to them, they gather it up;
    when you ^(A)open your hand, they are filled with good things.
²⁹ When you ^(B)hide your face, they are ^(C)dismayed;
    when you ^(D)take away their breath, they die
    and ^(E)return to their dust.
³⁰ When you ^(F)send forth your Spirit,^[a] they are created,
    and you ^(G)renew the face of the ground.
