21 So after[a] threatening them[b] further, they released them, finding no way to punish them on account of the people, because they were all praising God for what had happened. 22 For the man on whom this sign of healing had been performed was more than forty years old.

23 And when they[c] were released, they went to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
